There are a number of key milestones that you need to be aware of, such as when we will be communicating with your clients and when there will be trading restrictions during the migration period.
7 January 2021 |
You received an email followed by your mailing pack confirming the migration date and providing further details about what's happening. Your clients will also be written to(there will be a copy of the customer communications enclosed in your mailing pack). |
16 February 2021 |
Short-term online trading restrictions begin. Switching and Bed & ISA transactions are suspended until after migration. New literature and forms will be made available for use. When they’re available you will be able to access these in the 'Literature and communications' section of the hub. |
22 February 2021 |
Short term trading restrictions begin for new business, top-ups, transfer applications and disinvestments, which are suspended until after migration. |
24-25 February 2021 |
The current platform will become available for read only access. You will be able to get valuations, but no admin changes can be made for 2 days prior to the start of migration period. |
26-28 February 2021 |
The current system is unavailable and our upgraded technology platform will be live after the migration period. |
1 March 2021 |
The last fees and commission taken from your clients’ investments prior to migration will be paid to you. An accrued position will be carried over to the new system for fees, charges and commission due since the last fee, charge and commission payment was deducted. |
Post launch |
If you use adviser software you may need to reconcile the final fee and commission payment outlined above before you update your software with your clients’ new account numbers. Further information for each software provider can be found in 'Adviser Software Updates'. |

Your clients will begin to receive their quarterly statements from the new system, based on the quarterly anniversary date of their first account they opened with us. Depending on when this date falls your clients may receive an interim statement covering only a short period of time. |
